Nortech's counting solutions are based on several key products especially devloped to be mixed and matched to meet the requirements of most vehicle and people counting applications.

VenueMaster Stadium and Venue Count Management

VenueMaster provides centralised count management and monitoring for a venue that has multiple entry and exit points and/or discrete areas such as stands, levels, circles, etc., where it is necessary to monitor total and individual occupancy levels.

Each entry point (and exit point, if necessary) is individually monitored by one of four counters within an NCT200 counting controller. Each counter can receive count inputs (either increment or decrement) from voltage free contacts in a turnstile or similar entry control system. The NCT200 stores the count values locally and makes them available to the VenueMaster software over a network connection.

NorParc Car Park Counting System

NorParc is a Windows based level counting and parking guidance system that provides centralised count management, monitoring and guidance control for parking facilities that have multiple entry and exit points and/or several individual levels or nested parking areas. It can bring benefits to small car parks as well as large, multi-level car parks.

NorParc has a graphical user interface where important occupancy information and alarm indications can be displayed on a plan view of the facility.

NCT200 Counter Module

The Nortech NCT200 is an extremely flexible four-channel counter module that can be used as a standalone unit providing up to 4 individual counters or as a single counter with up to 4 increment inputs and 4 decrement inputs. The NCT200 can also be used as part of a networked count management system by linking it to the server PC of one of our count management system (VenueMaster or NorParc).

Variable Message Sign

Nortech's range of Variable Message Signs (VMS's) is designed to be used in conjunction with Nortech’s NCT200 counter modules to monitor and display count values such as the number of available spaces in a car park. The VMS can be used to display this information to visitors at suitable locations around a car park or venue. Its large 4-digit, LED display panel housed in an outdoor enclosure provides clear visibility so that it can be read at distances of up to 20m depending upon lighting conditions.

Open/Full Signs

Where it is not necesary to show the actual number of free spaces in a car park, Nortech offer a range of options for indicating the space/full status of the car park. The signs are primarily designed to be used in conjunction with Nortech capacity counters or standalone NCT200 counter modules to monitor the number of available car parking spaces and to display ‘full’ when the available space count reaches zero. These signs simply require a ground condition applied via relay or switch contacts to indicate when the car park is full. There is an option to display either 'open' or 'space' when the car park is not full.

Ancillary Products

Nortech supply a range of products that may be used alongside the counting products to provide complete solutions for many counting applications. The products include vehicle detectors, access controllers and remote control equipment.
